Black-capped Chickadee
Black-capped Chickadee sitting on a tree branch. A bird almost universally considered cute thanks to its over-sized round head, tiny body, and curiosity about everything, including humans. The chickadee's black cap and bib; white cheeks; gray back, wings, and tail ( I refer to them as tuxedo birds) and whitish underside with buffy sides are distinctive. Its habit of investigating people and everything else in its home territory, and quickness to discover bird feeders, make it one of the first birds most people learn. I am very passionate about wildlife and nature photography. One of my goals is to help increase public awareness of the wonders of wildlife and our natural heritage through my images. I am able to combine my love of wildlife, appreciation of the great outdoors and have a wonderful time in the process. Photographing wildlife in their natural habitat provides an exciting glimpse into the fascinating world of nature and wildlife. I hope you will enjoy your visit. Within these pages you'll discover our wildlife and landscape photo galleries . Which includes pictures of mammals, birds and scenic places. I encourage you and your families to photograph and observe wildlife in its natural habitat. Share your photos and your experiences outdoors, with your family and friends.
