Ruddy Duck or where I live called a blue bill. Ruddy Ducks are compact, thick-necked waterfowl with seemingly over sized tails that they habitually hold upright. Breeding males are bold, with a sky-blue bill, shining white cheek patch, and gleaming chestnut body. Ruddy Ducks are very aggressive toward each other and toward other species, especially during the breeding season I am very passionate about wildlife and nature photography. One of my goals is to help increase public awareness of the wonders of wildlife and our natural heritage through my images. I am able to combine my love of wildlife, appreciation of the great outdoors and have a wonderful time in the process.
