This open-country hunter is one of the world's most widely distributed owls, and among the most frequently seen in daylight. Don't look too hard for the ear tufts, which are so short they're often invisible. Features are its black-rimmed yellow eyes staring out from a pale facial disk. I am very passionate about wildlife and nature photography. One of my goals is to help increase public awareness of the wonders of wildlife and our natural heritage through my images. I am able to combine my love of wildlife, appreciation of the great outdoors and have a wonderful time in the process.
